City or Village Project

This project was the second major project from the 3D modeling course I participated in. Our goal was to reinforce skills learned. We were tasked with modeling a city or a village and use lighting to make the scene look better.

This render is showing a basic idea of what I want the rest of the scene to feel like.

Bringing The Scene Together

A simple 'wall' was added and the first idteration of a pathway through the village was also added.

A different angle provides the ability to see what the stone wall looks like from this side view on the scene.

Another veiw shows how the pathway is hovering and needs to be fixed. This view also shows what it could look like to be standing on the bridge.

To remove the flatness of the ground, some grass 3D textures were added. We can also see here a new building type to add some variation in the scene.

Wrapping up the project consisted of adjusting the lighting and skybox to have a moody feeling.
